The Payphone

Galveston is one of the few places that still has payphones on street corners. Following Ted's suggestion I have been trying to take pictures of people. Hopefully they will improve with a little experience.

Nicely done, Martin. Good quality of light and nice colors. It's different isn't it? You shouldn't feel compelled to take people shots in general, though. There are plenty of people who specialize in landscape, architecture, etc... it's just as you're starting out, I think you should try all sorts of different types to see what you really prefer.
Martin: It is different. I almost certainly wouldn't have tried it without your nudge. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll keep playing around with people shots and what happens.

Nice work. As ted says master those scary street scenes and you will have the confidence to shot almost anything.
Martin: Thanks! It will take some time to get used to this, but looking at other people's pictures clearly shows that it can be very rewarding.
