Galveston is one of the few places that still has payphones on street corners. Following Ted's suggestion I have been trying to take pictures of people. Hopefully they will improve with a little experience.

Nicely done, Martin. Good quality of light and nice colors. It's different isn't it? You shouldn't feel compelled to take people shots in general, though. There are plenty of people who specialize in landscape, architecture, etc... it's just as you're starting out, I think you should try all sorts of different types to see what you really prefer.
