Martin, the images you have posted from the 27th, some of the the best series of images I have seen on any blog.

Awesome

Martin: Suby, your comment most definitely made my day (and swelled my head a little bit, but it will deflate again in due course). grin

It took me some time to make up my mind about this picture. I first thought the shade and the tree spoils it. Later realised that without the shade and tree this would be a bland picture of a building with little variance.

Great capture.
Martin: I am glad you decided to like it! I was drawn to this shot by the shadows and the tree and agree with you that it would be very uninteresting without them.

It's all a beautiful frame for those round windows.

HI, Ruth! grin

The color tones of the building against the sky are what thrill me about this pic, Martin. Definitely my kind of photo!
Impressive blue sky, lovely composition and good equilibrium !
The tree of knowledge
Great mood in this shot and really nice colors
Martin: That would have been the perfect title. Unfortunately I didn't think of it. Thanks, Magnus!
nice ... very nice!
very cool division effect...
Very nice lighting, Martin!

Hi Martin. Very difficult to make a subject like this interesting, but you have done a good job my friend. Not too sure about the shadows, but the composition and focus are spot on. Kind regards, Neil.
Martin: Thank you, Neil. I did enhance the shadows a little, but the stark contrast was what attracted me to the shot in the first place. Maybe I went overboad with it, though.

Some public buildings can look very bland, and I think this is one of them, the lighting really lifts the picture.
Martin: I'll readily admit that it is not easily mistaken for a gothic castle smile
Great work on light and composition here !
