Larkin

Time for a change of pace from the Japan shots (of which there are many more).

This is from a training exercise of the Boulder Emergency Squad. They were floating down some rapids in wetsuits and life vests, presumably to learn how the people they rescue feel. Larkin is clearly taking his job seriously, which is exactly the way we want our EMS and rescue services to be.

Ted posted a shot from this event a few days ago (link) and provides a bit more information about who they are and what they do.

This is a much better shot than mine. I guess those extra 130mm helped out a lot in this particular situation.

As with Ted's pic, I am quite impressed with all the obvious energy put into this training, Martin. I especially like the vivid colors!

Very good docu style shot Martin. great use of DOF and super colour saturation. I see the duct tape makes an appearance with the EMS guys as well (it is an essential in any bike racer's toolbox!!). Hope you have a brilliant weekend. Many regards, Neil.
