i adore rocks and a good rock photo. the dark tones of the railway stones made for a great frame for these two bright odd creations. i am baffled at the shapes and colours. very very vivid!! ~S.

Looks like petrified wine corks. Would be an interesting long term anthropological experiment i guess. I like the grass leading to top right martin

I'm with Marybeth in thinking I saw food in the thumbnail. Only I saw a roast potato and a chunk of sausage. The dark rocks look like coals on a barbecue.
