I arrived home to Atlanta this afternoon to 51 degrees, Martin, which felt very good! And our leaves are still turning. I LOVE this reminder that it's still autumn.

Leaves have more smarts than our thermometers...you can't fool them with a dab of "Indian Summer".
Love the patterns and the warm gold of this image, Martin.

It looks much more intriguing on the thumb, Martin.
Lucky you, we're freezing our arses off here in Atlanta- 31 degrees this morning!

A delicious closeup and such pretty complimenting lighting. The detail is wonderful!
It's about 12 degrees here in wet and windy Droitwich. Autumn is rapidly turning to winter and a weekend of sweeping up leaves beckons. It doesn't seem such a chore when you see what a wonderful display they made and gave up pictures like this. It looks molten Martin

The details and colors of leaves never cease to amaze me. Your picture inspires me to get out and take some pictures of leaves too!
Strange texture on this one - it doesn't look real on my monitor, almost like you oversharpened it. The colours are very striking.

The 80 degrees is hopefully Fahrenheit otherwise there is another reason for leaves to look roasted.

Great close-up mr leafman - have you taken this picture in the zoo?
