Sparse...interesting...I love cog wheels, and so does the photographer!
Great DOF -- the gears are so sharp. I like the black and white as well. smile

Great composition!
Fascinating image Martin ... Part of the wheels within wheels process. richard
I always wondered what a soul was, Martin. Interesting focus.
Great composition. I have a mechanical soul in theory, but not in practice. I can't cope with recalcitrant objects. Did you ever see Basil Fawlty thrashing his car in Fawlty Towers? That's me.

Very few working parts in your soul then ;o) Good photograph though!
I like the simplicity of this Martin. If Chad has a soul it would be smaller!
Excellent composition Martin. Works really well in B&W.

unusual for you Martin, b&w that is, you should do it more often as this is superbsmile
Don't take your soul to bits Martin: if you're like me you'll lose a bit!

Your mechanical soul has gone to pieces - or so it looks. Great shot.
love the interestingly stripped background. I would like to get my hands on those things and use'em as ceramic tools!

nice monochrome composition: great dof and I like the angle of the table and strong vertical stripes in the background.

Nice one, Martin. They almost look like insects crawling, in a strange way. Could be that my morning coffee hasn't kicked in yet smile
I think the Tin Man is missing a few parts! lol! Neat dof in this composition.
Very nice, pretty original! The lines in the background are cool.

The front metal blade is very sharp smile
Wonderful images. I've included your blog in a recent posting "20 Awesome Photography Blogs - Houston". Please heck it out when you have a moment. Best of luck and keep up the great work!
