Sorry for the long absence. I have queued up a few images this week and next just to prove that I am still alive :) There is also the fact that the unassigned bin is about to get out of control, which must be avoided at all cost.

Flower photography is hardly my thing, but even I try it from time to time. This one appealed to me mostly for the background.

Great use of DOF, flower stands out beautifully

I agree with you about the background - it's splendid - very painterly. It's good to try something different for a change. Have also been having a break from SC but still keep my eye on what people are doing!
