photoblog image TA3

TA3

I dithered a long time trying to decide whether to post this or a shot of a colorful plant that was growing nearby. Perhaps not surprisingly the industrial grunge won out, but the plant shot will follow shortly.

Let me offer this as a belated 300th post.

Congratulations on 300, Martin. This image goes straight to my likeys. It is unusual and very appealing. I love the angle of the shadow and the way it deepens the green.
cool capture martin!
Well, much as I love plants, I have to admit this is a fantastic post. This one goes in my Likeys.

300? Wow. That's wonderful, Martin. Congratulations! Looking forward to 300 more.

I love this shade of green. You don't see too many buildings this color. Very unique, well composed pic.

Excellent achievement to make the 300-mark, well done!
And it's a good image too, really like the "hole" in the shadow - well captured.

The TA3 makes this appropriate for your 300 milestone, Martin. At least there's a 3 in the pic! smile

You shouldn't have dithered one sec, however. This is fabulous as a minimalistic capture. The shadow alone makes this, as does that shade of green. Congratulations!
Interesting capture. I love the shadows and starkness of the lettering - conflicting 'gradients' adds to the appeal.
Well captured! Regards, Elize :o)

Glad you went with the grunge. It has all the elements, a sickly green, dark foreboding shadows, a grill and interesting text. A worthy #300 - congratulations.

Crunchy texture and top composition! Is it all right to do the congrats thing again... your not going to tell me this is 299... is that an Edit>Stroke border I see???
Martin: Thanks Max! I don't know what an Edit>Stroke border is smile If you are talking about the vignetting, I used the raw import dialog of PS to do that. Al other processing was the same for all parts of the shot. When I get home tonight, I'll have to look into this border thing you mentioned...
Very, very graphic Martin. I like the texture on the wall.
Happy 300 th Martin.
WOO - Hoo! Always a joy to hear from you. Wonderful eye on this capture. The Shadow is just too lined up, are you also a math whiz as well as photo geek wink i mean really who gets the shadow perfectly lined up with the bricks in the wall. Great Job at getting over the 300 mark! Wow that means you have posted nearly a years worth of photos.

Cheers,
rabbit

the green mono with contrasting white letters. The box shaped shadow of the aircon is commanding attention. excellent shot
