photoblog image Zebra

Zebra

The Waste Management tower is probably my favorite buidling in downtown Houston. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get a decent shot of it, because other buildings encroach on it on its sunny side. Straight up is just about the only perspective available, but at least the curious indentations that break up the otherwise plain facade are clearly visible.

Nice capture - it's a pretty good angle even if it's the only one available smile I like the darkness of the sky behind the clouds. It repeats the color scheme of the building nicely.

Now this is a unique zebra stripped building. I agree, interesting indentation that add to the dimensional aspect of the picture. I like it...nice, Martin.
Wow. The combination of perspective and geometry make this powerfully vertiginous.

Nice Angle wink
Pefect title for this structure, Martin. I don't think you have anything to complain about in getting a good angle. You've done it proud!

I love the way the stripes get very dynamic, dancing all over the place, as I scroll the image up and down.
What wastes are the managing inside, Martin?
Nice pattern. very well done
Very very powerful: lovely shot
I assure you that this shot is really decent!
Nicely captured Martin and the angle is good one.

It looks remarkably zebra-esque doesn't it, that's the thought that leapt into my head when I spotted this picture.
super photo, love the angles....tim.
Stunning shot Martin. Like the way the recessed areas break up the pattern of the facade, giving added interest. The dark sky sets it off perfectly.

Straight-up makes an excellent shot. The building seems to be very thin - can't hold a lot of waste smile
Fantastic optical illusions in this one! I love it. (:o)
Awesome building very well caught! Nice!
I can see why you like it, Martin: some great lines here well captured!
