Santa Elena
Thank you very much for the feedback yesterday. Much appreciated and very helpful! A few people asked what they were looking at: it is a rock formation inside the Antelope Canyon in Arizona. The part you see is about two feet across.
Back to the Rio Grand as if flows through the Santa Elena Canyon in Big Bend National Park. This view is really the only part of this vast park that seemed worthy of a National Park. Unfortunately the lighting conditions were very difficult to work with and I wasn't able to avoid the blown highlights in the clouds.

Martin, this is incredible. The composition works really well, and the intensity of the colors is dramatic!
This is an amazing shot Martin.
*sigh*..... this is full of drama, great mirrored refelection, love the colors...Martin I make this a likey.
This would look fantastic on a large billboard Martin
Fantastic. LIKEY
Excellent - you can almost choose which way round you prefer the picture.
The sun is somewhere at the back - like the 'against the light' pictures I keep myself busy with of lately. You call it blown - I believe it is accentuating the direction of the light source. Blown for me would be if you could see no more detail. But that is a personal opinion.
This is just excellent Martin. The water is a mirror! The sky is fantastic. A likey for me.
An amazing shot - the reflections of the clouds look like rushing water, and you get to see the detail there too!

A sublime landscape in the proper sense of the word i.e. awe-inspiring and unnerving.

OMG! This is one of the most amazing landscape photos I have ever seen! The reflections are so good you can turn the photo the other way round and never know the difference. This is interesting, and so crisp. EXCELLENT!
I think we can forgive the bit of white out in the clouds Martin, this is a cracking shot.
