photoblog image Triangle Tower

Triangle Tower

Driving by Downtown Dallas a few weekends ago I decided to stop for a few snaps. I don't know the name of this building, but its courtyard seems to be a somewhat popular place for people to hang out on a Sunday afternoon, probably to admire all the triangles.

Brilliant!

This has a sort of George Lucas "epic view of Mothership" feel to it, Martin.

Had the building tipped on its side and powered up its levitator engine...or, umh, did you rotate right 90deg and not notice?
Martin: Thank you very much, Ray. I obviously can't tell up from down today. I should have stayed in bed smile

Oh - what a perspective to take the photo from. This is so different - in a good way. I almost get dizzy looking at it. Excellent!!!!

Triangles and rectangles, Martin! Do I hear Chicken Little yelling out somewhere, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!" I LOVE the black in this image.

Its amazing how different something looks on its side! I like the way the building and the sky seem to be merging.

Arresting even as a thumbnail! A great idea to rotate the image through 90 degrees. It makes it far more dramatic and unusual.

A grate shot that got even better when I tilted my monitor wink The black parts makes the picture more interesting and the reflections of the clouds are super. Yet another architecual picture from you that inspires me.

Tri-angles and rect-angles, while angle's the attraction here.

Excellent.

I am getting engulfed in a new project and will probably follow your example soon - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It feels bad, but I haven't won the mega millions yet.
Instead of a architectural shot, i would all it a geometric shot. Very good.
A great one really ! I like the simplicity and the great angle of view !
