The Passage of Time
I am already getting tired of my West Texas 'series' and will have to break it up after this post.
Unfortunately this isn't as sharp as I would like. Shot from the hip (to stick with the western theme) at 1/8 of a second this is the best I could muster. I have some shorter and therefor crisper exposures of this, but the train cars are very bland in those.

very cool. mal
astonishing photo. conveyed a feeling of great distraction.
Yeh...crisp grassy stuff would improve it a little, but I really like it for what your slow shutter did to the "iron hoss" Martin.
Gotta LOVE that train, Martin, so do NOT get tired/bored yet!

You have provided blue and some blur as well. With reference to sharper grass - refer to Harriett. The horisontal levels stacked vertical in portrait style are special.
This is cracking, not bored yet
Good enough for me. Wwwouff, I can hear the noise!
Like these Texas series very much so far. So please continue.
This is a very cool idea Martin... must try it sometime. At 1/8 of a second you've beat an entry level tripod !
I think it shows something interesting and isn't htat enough sometimes?
I like this a lot Martin.
This is a great shot and I am not bored yet, but I know your drive to do brilliant, (which you do I think) I think it is time to hit the road and go east again, but please can you come back some time and show some more of 'the West'
Very nice Martin.
Another great picture, I seem to become a fan of yours
quelle idée, encore, c'est magnifique !

Brilliant Martin. I love the speed blur, the band of pure blue sky. Looks pretty sharp on my tiny monitor at work.
Great capture, Mr. Quick Draw McGraw! (:o)
Excellent Martin - great image.
I guess a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do Martin but I was enjoying these. We don't have dirty great cacti and deep blue skies this side of the pond. Not bad sharp wise at that sort of speed, looks good with the blurred train
Love the effect on the moving train. It still looks pretty crisp to me.

I think maybe you dont see the appeal fully in your photo, i think it is great, i loved it.
superb Martin
I really like the idea for this picture and 1/8 is needed here. To bad you did'nt had a tripod though. Everything is just perfect, except the lack of sharpness.
However, getting it this sharp on 1/8 and from the hip is worth some credit!
Great composition !
just about perfect for me Martin
Magnifique, wonderful,...
Wow! Fantastic action shot!!
waouh !!!
